Who we are
Established in Lugano in 2014.
Our team has worked in machine learning, computer vision, agent systems and industrial automation for over twenty-five years, in university research, European research programmes and industry.
That history is not incidental to what we build now. The engineering discipline behind a biometric recognition system deployed in the field — calibration, validation against ground truth, knowing precisely what a model can and cannot be trusted to tell you — is the same discipline we apply to cognitive simulation today.
What we build
Five platforms. One cognitive engine.
The engine is a BDI cognitive architecture — Beliefs, Desires, Intentions. Rather than querying a language model for an opinion, we construct populations of agents that deliberate over what they believe, what they want and what they intend, and produce individual reasoning traces you can inspect. The reasoning is visible, not asserted.

How we position the work
Complementary to traditional research, not a substitute for it.
Synthe Suite platforms are built to run alongside surveys, focus groups, expert panels and clinical judgement — adding breadth of coverage and speed of iteration where fieldwork is slow or costly, and giving you a second reading to test against the first.
We describe our results in terms of directional convergence: across eight validation studies covering 4,800 participants, platform output was assessed against published empirical research and converged on the same direction of effect. That is the claim we make, and it is the claim we can support. Decisions stay with the people accountable for them.
